He was born in South Korea into a family of musicians. A lot of his relatives majored in music including his mother who majored in voice and has been teaching music in elementary and middle schools for over 30 years. It wasn't surprising that Mr. Jue started playing classical piano at the age of 5. Along the way, he became interested in other instruments. He learned the guitar by himself and took drum lessons. He did not hesitate to learn other instruments when he had a chance. He received jazz piano lessons from the world renown jazz pianist, Kwak Yoon Chan, until he came to the United Stated to further his studies.

As an accompanist, he has worked at many schools and churches, including Glendale Community College, First Baptist Church in Hollywood, Glory Church of Jesus Christ in Los Angeles, etc. He has also accompanied for many musicals, including Bye Bye Birdie, Into the Woods, and Little Shop of Horror, at colleges and high schools. He has worked as a solo pianist or as a band member at many weddings, parties and banquets and etc.

He has worked as a composer for many different types of music. His first music was Hiphop/Rap music, which he wrote in high school. It was sung by a local group and won the silver award at Korean National Contemporary Music Contest in 2000. He wrote a Christian contemporary song, which a male duet sang at the 8th Christian Gospel Contest in 2002 and won the silver prize. Mr. Jue arranged theme music for a cable television channel, Television Korea 24 (www.tvk24.com) in 2005 and the music is still being broadcasted to this day. He wrote several music and directed for a Christian musical Here I am Lord in Los Angeles. He scored music for several Christian independent films such as Inheritance, Day of Reckoning, and The Lost Shepherd. Credits can be found at imdb.com under the name Su-hyun Jue which was Mr. Jue's original name prior to getting his U.S. citizenship.

Mr. Jue has been teaching music privately for over 13 years and loves doing it. He has taught early childhood music classes privately and many instruments to age 5 to adults.

He also works as a music director at St. Hilary's Church and directs the choir. He has many private lesson students and teaches general music at St. Hilary School and directs children's choir. During the summer, Mrs. Jue teaches a few courses such as Music Theory Intensive and Songwriting at Temple Preparatory division of the Boyer College of Music.
